About Snowbird and Cliff Lodge
Snowbird has been a proud host of the PSIA-AASI National Academy for over 20 years. Known for its legendary terrain and great late-season snowfall, many call Snowbird the home of the “steep and deep.” Check out the Snowbird snow report or download a free trail map here:

The Cliff Lodge is a world-class flagship alpine hotel which offers ski-in/ski-out access, a world class spa, outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs, mountain and slope-side views, and complimentary ski lockers.

There are a variety of restaurants at Snowbird, as well as a few small convenience stores and a deli. We will have an updated list of open businesses and their operating hours closer to the event.

Ski and Ride Groups/Leaders
Prior to the event, you will be asked to rate yourself and your skiing or riding ability, and your goals for Academy. You may also specify the type of group you would like to ski or ride with (advanced, off piste, bumps or relaxed, groomers) and the Team member you would like to join for your primary ski/ride group during the event. We will make every effort to make sure you are skiing or riding with the best group and group leader to fit your needs and goals for the week. At Opening Reception, you will be broken up into groups based on your self-selected ability and goals. You will then ski or ride with that group for each morning of the five on-snow clinic days. You will be able to choose on-snow or indoor electives to join each afternoon, focusing on joining a different group, skiing/riding with a different leader, honing in on a particular skill or snow condition, or doing video analysis of your personal performance.

Indoor Sessions
In addition to your on-snow clinics and indoor/on-snow electives, you will be able to hear experts in the field – including Team panels – share their knowledge in one daily presentations that will push your learning and networking even further.
