Seth Johns

Seth Johns is excited to be a first-time member of the AASI snowboard Team. With snowboarding roots homegrown in Idaho, Seth's drive for progression within the sport quickly led him to the Tetons of Wyoming, where he spent six years big mountain riding and building the foundation for his career. Now a certified Level 3 Examiner in the Western division of AASI , Seth has spent the last five years as an instructor/trainer at Heavenly Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe, Calfornia.

Using the connections he has built along the way, in addition to being fluent in Spanish, has allowed Seth the opportunity to remain dedicated to snowboarding and instructing nearly year-round as he pursues endless winters in Argentina and Chile. He is a competitor in the North Face Masters series and local freestyle events. When he is not on his snowboard, Seth can be found Jeeping on the Rubicon Trail, rock climbing, wakeboarding, surfing or exploring.

Goals for being on the AASI snowboard Team:  I’m looking forward to meeting new people and hope to have an opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the industry. I’d like to impart my passion and knowledge for snowboarding to others in hopes of cultivating new snowboarders who are just as excited about the sport as I am. Of course, I’m also ready to ride as much powder as possible!
