Rider Rally 2010 at Copper Mountain: Day 3
Can you say stoked?!! Day three of Rider Rally 2010 was rockin’—with six inches of new snow, lots of sun, and even more smiles.
Copper pulled out all the stops on Thursday, March 11, as Rally’ers charged the mountain and rode powder top-to-bottom in the morning.
After tracking up the new snow, groups moved into the park. Very happy people started stomping tricks that they came to Rally to learn and kept progressing on to new tricks and more challenging features. Eyewitness accounts of backside 3’s stuck for the first time, conquered rainbow rails, and sweet pipe runs were the talk of group this afternoon.
Time at Camp Woodward has added to the fun and total experience as the Rally gang tried new tricks, spins, and grabs as they jumped into the foam pits. Can’t wait to see these transferred to the snow tomorrow!
Vince from Never Summer Snowboards rode with the groups today, soaking up the sun and searching for the next line of freshies. Being at Rally 2010 has been like being a kid in a candy store with so much fun stuff to choose from!
