What is the ISIA Passbook/Stamp?

The purpose of the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA) Passbook is to identify you to a foreign ski school or resort representative as an instructor certified by PSIA or AASI at Level III, i.e., the highest level of certification within the United States. The passbook, with the stamp, is a credential and does not guarantee employment, discounts, or benefits of any kind. Although members may be extended a courtesy because of the association’s membership with ISIA, that is solely at the discretion of the foreign resort. The passbook itself does not need to be renewed every year; however, instructors who travel abroad on an annual basis will need to renew the stamp each year.
