Most memorable snowboarding moment: An early season dump hit Mount Washington, NH. It was raining in town, but we drove to the Auto Road anyway, and it was just snowing there. We hiked through the foliage, to mile marker six which was above tree line. Riding down it was like moving slowly from a black and white movie from the treeless and foggy expanse above to a technicolored movie in the New England fall foliage below. It was amazing.
Top three off-snow activities:
1) Road Biking
2) Hiking
3) Swimming
Unusual talent: I can both snowboard, and teach a mean AP Calculus class.
Can usually be found: Teaching math at Gould Academy.
The best thing about being on the AASI Snowboard Team: Traveling and sharing the fun of sliding for a living.
