Best thing about being on the PSIA Alpine Team: I love the travel.  All the great places you get to ski. The big resorts are always an awesome experience but so too are the small resorts as they bring me back to my roots.

Words of wisdom to someone not involved in snowsports to encourage them to try skiing or riding:
First, this sport is one of the only activities one can do that can afford such a wide range of stimulation to the senses and can stir up so many different emotions.  This is what keeps the sport interesting as it's really so much more than simply going left and right; it's about the excitement, sensation, thrill, and the pride you get when you look back at a section of the mountain and say, "Yup, I just skied that!" Personal fulfillment aside, skiing is truly a lifelong activity that can be enjoyed equally by all ages, making it a great activity to do as a family.
