Think about your contribution to snowsports. If someone threw a party in celebration of all you’ve done, how big would it be? Now, think about how big that party would be if it were thrown in celebration of all the achievements of all the instructors over the past 50 years, and in anticipation of achievements yet to come. Done thinking? Yeah, it would be HUGE! Ladies and gentleman, we invite you to the 50/50.

This is it! Your go-to place for all the details on the PSIA-AASI 50/50 Celebration—the biggest bash in the history of snowsports instruction. This page contains everything you need to know about registration, scheduled events, special activities, travel arrangements, lodging, and more.

Welcome Reception – Start a great week of celebrations by meeting old friends and making new ones at the 50/50 Welcome Reception. Enjoy delicious food, beer, and wine compliments of the reception hosts, Snowmass, Silvertree Hotel, the Aspen Skiing Company. No need to register separately.
Après – Relax and spend time with fellow PSIA-AASI members and guests as you wind down after a day of activities by attending après on Wednesday and Thursday at the bar of the day. Enjoy special drink prices just by showing your 50/50 wristband. Drink specials will continue on Friday and Saturday at designated spots to be announced later.
Mall Crawl – Join the Mall Crawl on Tuesday night to get an overview of all the hot spots at Snowmass (for members and guests only). Apres wristband required to receive special discounts.
50/50 Celebration Banquet – Come celebrate the past 50 years and help us look forward to the next 50! Join us as we honor our association’s founders and 50-year members. Relish in reflections on everything PSIA-AASI members have done for the snowsports industry over the past five decades, enjoy the insights of a special guest speaker (details to come), and witness the presentation of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. You’ll definitely want to be part of this historical event!
Golden Ticket Party (Ages 18 and older) – Come celebrate 50 years of PSIA-AASI at the specially themed Golden Ticket Party at the hot new Viceroy hotel. Complimentary beer and wine at the poolside party!
Goody Bags Galore - Be sure to purchase your 50/50 mementos to include: Osprey Daylite Pak stuffed with 50/50 logoed, black, fleece-lined full-zip hoodie, 50/50 commemorative medal, and 50/50 patch and sticker.
Blowout Concert – Finish the 50/50 celebration with a bang as PSIA-AASI rocks out with Aspen Ski Company’s spring concert series. Stay tuned to see who’s on stage for the big night!
Educational Opportunities – Ride or slide with current and past PSIA-AASI national team members while exploring Snowmass Mountain, Highlands, Buttermilk, and Aspen Mountain (as conditions allow). Enjoy spring sliding while improving your own skiing or riding skills and exchanging teaching ideas with the best of the best from all over the United States.
