Hello all!

I have had some stress fractures in both heels, ankles, and some other small bones in my feet. These weren’t caused by skiing/snowboarding and have healed up, but every once in a while my feet will start acting up again after a long day. My feet and ankles are narrow, and my feet are very flat with barely any arch.

My question was if there is a snowboarding boot and binding setup that would be ideal for my feet?

Would definitely like to hear from anyone who has had similar injuries or feet like mine!

Thanks a bunch all!

hi all…last winter I suffered a broken shin, and am still working on the recovery…I had surgery, in which I had a plate and about a half dozen screws put into my leg…last week, I was able to try on a snowboard boot for the first time since the surgery, and I can definitely feel pressure where some of the screws are located as my liner rests against them…does anyone have any experience with this or any ideas…I am contemplating using a knife to shave some of the material away at the contact spots so as to alleviate the pressure, but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice before I start hacking away as to how to go about doing this, or about another possible option…any and all advice would be greatly appreciated…thanks!

Took a season ending fall last week heard a pop in my right knee and had a nice ride off the mountain by sled. Will be going in wed for another look at the right knee. The doctor at this time thinks its just a strain/ tear of the medial meniscus. I have a feeling there is more to it hopping for the best and expecting the worse. My question is for anyone that has had this kind of injury other then ice and poss need for surgery what where some things that you did to help with the healling and rehab of the knee
