Website question - way too cool, but not too functional.

Am I the only one who finds this new website way too cool for it’s own good?  In an attempt to make it look cool and hip they forgot about usability.

For example, I am already logged in and I want to see what Smith has to offer us for new sunglasses and goggles this year.  But, the section on the main page says “Log in to view member offers”.  Hey, I am already logged in!  So, I plow ahead and see that the logos on that page do nothing but lead to the generic website for that vendor.

How do I see what the member offers are from our sponsors?

Any help would be appreciated.

This works for me:

Log in
Select Pro Offers (on right side under ‘Welcome Jeffrey’ - Member Center)
Click on one of the logo’s (just did smith and on their page have to click enter site)
Choose some sick goggles and enjoy (i’ll suggest starting w/ the Phenom model)!

I’m with Robert - the website simply doesn’t work.
I’ve been trying to change add my new address. Now I’m faced with the dilemma of “the phone number is invalid” message. I enter and renter is exactly as in an example within the form still doesn’t work. Same number in the same format is already listed on my other address.
I’m trying to Remove my Primary address - I get a message you can’t remove it. Why is there a Remove button next to it then. I’m trying to maker my Work address my primary address but there is no such an option.
I’m not sure who programmed this interface but it simply is not working - a lot of money spent for a very deficient product.

Yeah this new site has lots of issues… like just logging in!
After I log in, I am taken to some ‘in between page’ and then click in the center to get back to the home page.
On the way there, only then do I get a ‘your logged in’ message.
Can’t seem to upload my original avatar for the forum… am I really limited to “Mr. Bill” and a few other things?
No offense Jeff!

It just seems kinda cumbersome.

Oh yeah… when I click on “PM” over there on the left…. I end up at ‘my statistics’ ... NOT set for a private message!

can we fix that please?

no offense taken.  do know that i only posted to help address the OP’s original dilemma - not being able to negotiate to the pro deals.  i don’t work for PSIA/AASI, so can’t help w/ making changes to the site.  Maybe send all the comments here to the national office or go through feedback channels.

Not alone. I’m a “former” web designer of many years. yes, it LOOKS cool. But WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS to get anywhere, find anything. Geez. I’ve spent a ton of time, gone through 2 different browsers to try & get set up to use the Online Matrix product. REALLY squirreling & not very friendly, functional or intuitive….usability id key here. not pretty graphics.

Did anyone test this before going live?

Please fix.

Same problem, with pro offers. I can get in on my wife’s notebook but not my desk top. I’ll be calling them in Am, been trying the email route and it’s not working. There should be a home button on some pages.

After talking to PSIA: delete cookies and temp internet. Worked for me.They are still tweaking the web site and these steps have helped most everyone. Good Luck.
