Learning Center Training & Adaptive Supervisor - Come for the winter, stay for a lifetime!
Share your passion and knowledge of teaching snow sports by joining the supervisor team and “family” at the Meadows Learning Center on Mt. Hood, Oregon. The Training and Adaptive Supervisor will supervise all instructor training programs, Adaptive Lesson operations and assist with other department daily operations as needed. The Training and Adaptive Supervisor will be responsible for helping organize pre-season new instructor training content; recruiting and tracking pre-training tasks like E-Learning courses and registering to attend on-snow training; helping develop the schedule and agenda for new and returning instructor training in December; conducting and/or organizing a 30-day check in and ride-along for rookie instructors; conducting and/or organizing ride-along sessions for returning instructors to evaluate teaching and skiing performance; scheduling discipline specific cross training to maximize utilization of full time instructors. On the growing Adaptive side this supervisor will help with scheduling and coordinating Adaptive specific training for all instructors with the Adaptive Training Coordinator; scheduling both voluntary and paid training clinics for skiing, riding and teaching improvement; working with the Operations & Training Manager to grow and evolve the department training programs.
