There’s still time to celebrate Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month (LSSM) 2018 and take advantage of the month-long initiative promoting professional ski and snowboard instruction. LSSM’s resort partners provided about 20,000 beginner lessons the first year and now are on the brink of breaking one million. Here are just a few ways to share the stoke for ski and snowboard lessons.
Send a press release about LSSM in general and specifically programs you are organizing. Here is a link to the media page on the LSSM site.
Use your social media outreach or post a short video to remind current students that January is LSSM and encourage them to “bring a friend” for lessons from a snow pro. Video ideas – youngest to take a lesson, person from the farthest away who came to take a lesson. Use the video throughout the month. Click here for a few examples.
Use PSIA-AASI's "Go With a Pro" online toolkit for talking points, copy, and promotional materials to promote the benefits of taking a professional lesson. All the copy, art and images are free for you to use, and there's even a Social Media 101 guide to help you get started.
