The Learn to Ski and Snowboard initiative attracted new riders across the country, the Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show Convention in Denver provided a perfect venue to meet with the association’s Official Suppliers, and the introduction of the AASI/Burton Riglet PE Course opened the door to get more kids stoked on snowboarding before they even hit the snow.

Heidi Ettlinger Helps Educate NYC About Learning to Ski
PSIA Alpine Team member Heidi Ettlinger reports from Winter Jam, a free winter sports festival, in Central Park, NY, that happened on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018. Gore Mountain made lots of snow in the heart of Manhattan, and hosted Learn to Ski activities including skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and live ice sculpting.
E-Learning Course Helps PE Teachers to Teach Snowboarding Indoors
AASI team members, Tony Macri and Chris Rogers, chat about the new AASI/Burton Riglet PE Course. It's designed specifically for kindergarten through second-grade physical education teachers. It builds upon Burton’s groundbreaking Riglet PE Program, which uses special equipment, activities, and videos to introduce snowboarding to elementary school kids as part of their regular physical education classes.
