Community Settings: Top Tips for Customizing Your Digital Experience

PSIA-AASI digital resources such as The Community are all about making it easy for you to access educational content in the way that’s most convenient for you.

The Community makes it easy to connect with fellow snow pros in a PSIA-AASI members-only educational forum, where you can post your questions, tips, and techniques as new discussions or chime in on other discussion threads already posted. You can ALSO personalize your Community settings to control the frequency and format of the emails you receive for the Open Forum and any other Groups to which you belong. Here’s how:

Click here to access The Community, then select “My Profile” and log in. In the drop-down for “My Account,” select “Community Notifications.” For each of your Groups, you have the following delivery options:

  • Real Time: Sends an email every time a new message is posted
  • Daily Digest: sends one email to you each day, consolidating all of the posts from the previous day
  • Plain Text: By default, emails are set to HTML, and we encourage you to leave it set to this if your email client can support it. However, if you are having problems viewing the HTML version or it takes too long to open, you can opt for the Plain Text setting.
  • No Email: Allows you to be part of the group without having emails sent to you. You can still post and read others’ messages by logging into The Community site.

Click here to go to The Community and update your settings right now.

You can click here to access educational resources online, and you can click here for a quick roundup of all of PSIA-AASI social media channels.
