Highlights on Upcoming Winter Events


The 2018-2019 ski and snowboard season is about to start, with registration now open for must-attend events like Cross Country Academy, National Adaptive Academy, and Interski 2019.


You should also save the dates for National Academy, Rider Rally, and Telemark Academy, with all three events, and all disciplines, heading to Big Sky, Montana in April, 2019.

PSIA Cross Country Academy 2018

Cross Country Academy in West Yellowstone, Montana, serves as an annual kickoff for the instruction season. Scheduled as the first national training event of the year, Cross Country Academy follows hot on the heels of Thanksgiving, infusing the event with a holiday feel for attendees and clinicians alike. This event will take place Nov. 25-27, 2018. Registration is now open.

 

PSIA-AASI National Adaptive Academy 2018

The 31st annual Hartford Ski Spectacular will take place December 3-9, 2018, in Breckenridge, Colorado. Hosted by Disabled Sports USA and held in conjunction with PSIA-AASI’s National Adaptive Academy, this is the nation’s premier adaptive winter sports festival. PSIA-AASI is proud to offer continuing education units to adaptive instructors and volunteers through clinics with PSIA-AASI Team Members and other adaptive educators from our divisions. Registration is now open.

 

Interski 2019

The PSIA-AASI Team will represent you and the U.S. at the world’s largest gathering of ski and snowboard instructors – Interski 2019 – in Pamporovo, Bulgaria, March 17-22, 2019. The Team will share American teaching tenets and bring back perspectives from across the globe.

Registration closes September 24.

 

National Academy 2019  

Remember your season as the most epic in history when you attend National Academy, April 14-19, 2019 in Big Sky, Montana! Take your personal teaching to the next level by skiing and riding at Big Sky Resort with some of the best instructors in the world. It's easy to get to, just 50 miles south of Bozeman, and 50 miles north of West Yellowstone. It offers some of the best expert and advanced terrain AND a large amount of beginner and intermediate terrain.

 

Rider Rally 2019
Rider Rally will rock Big Sky, Montana April 16-19, 2019! The AASI Snowboard Team will lead you through three days of big mountain riding, skill improvement, teaching progressions and drills, and more.

 

Telemark Academy 2019  

PSIA Telemark Team members Grant Bishop and Gregory Dixon will lead you through three days of big mountain skiing, skill improvement, teaching progressions and drills during Telemark Academy at Big Sky, Montana April 16-19, 2019. Expect lively and fun-filled social events to follow the day’s work on the hill.
