Adaptive Academy, First Snow, XC World Cup + Matrix Videos


The 31st annual Hartford Ski Spectacular will take place Dec. 3-9, 2018, in Breckenridge, Colorado. Hosted by Disabled Sports USA and held in conjunction with PSIA-AASI’s National Adaptive Academy, this is the nation’s premier adaptive winter sports festival. PSIA-AASI is proud to offer continuing education units to adaptive instructors and volunteers through clinics with PSIA-AASI Team Members and other adaptive educators from our divisions. Registration is now open.

 

First Snowstorms Sweep Across the West!

PSIA-AASI members from Montana to Arizona lit up social media with photos of fresh snow this weekend from precipitation-laden storms and a slow-moving cold front. Big Sky, Montana (site of this winter’s PSIA-AASI National Academy, AASI Rider Rally, and PSIA Telemark Academy), Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Steamboat, Colorado, and even the Arizona Snowbowl reaped the benefits. Minnesota to Host 2020 Cross Country World Cup

Insidethegames.biz is reporting that Minnesota has been confirmed as host of an International Ski Federation (FIS) Cross-Country World Cup event to be held in March 2020. The event will be hosted by U.S. Ski and Snowboard and the Loppet Foundation, a charity focusing on getting youth and families passionate about outdoor adventure in the Minneapolis area. Read the entire story here.
