Getting an ISIA Card? Register for the April 11 Speed Test Now
Are you planning on getting your International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA) card? Attend the upcoming ISIA Speed Test at Aspen Highlands on April 11 to fulfill the race requirement.The ISIA Speed Test is a required component of the ISIA Card certification. The card is the highest level of international snowsports certification. For full details of ISIA recognition, both stamp and card, visit the International Opportunities page.
This event is open to all PSIA-AASI members, and each participant will have two runs to meet the speed test standard. Final results are based on best run, not a combination of the two runs.
Standards will be determined by completing the course within the designated maximum time. Times are determined by FIS-calibrated pacesetters and are slightly different for men and women. Lift tickets are included with the registration fee. Click here to register.
Intermountain Division Is Seeking an Executive Director… Maybe That’s YOU!
The Intermountain Division has launched a hiring process for the position of executive director.
Under the direction of the PSIA-AASI Intermountain Board of Directors, the executive director will be responsible for implementing strategic plans and policies; managing the division’s financial, operational, and marketing efforts; and overseeing the division’s manager, employees, and independent contractors.
Based out of Intermountain’s Salt Lake City office, this person will manage key operational areas such as membership, finance, volunteer relations, corporate governance, and other duties. He or she will also act as the division’s liaison with the PSIA-AASI National Office in Lakewood, Colorado, by serving as a member of the Operations Leadership Committee.
