Course Description:
Technical Skills Clinic, 1 day On-Snow.
Assessment Prep Goal: This clinic is a 1-day, in-depth experience that will identify and prioritize the technical improvements necessary to prepare for the Level 3 Ski Assessment. This event should only be attended by instructors intending to take the Level 2 or 3 Skiing Assessment.
Clinic Outcomes: By the end of this clinic, participants will:
-- Understand their personal performance.
-- Be able to compare their performance to the Standard.
-- Possess tools that support independent practice.
Clinic Experiences:
-- The clinic leader and participants will collaborate to determine relevant goals.
-- The clinic leader will emphasize the accurate integration of the overall magnitude of pressure, ski
to ski pressure, and edge control.
-- The clinic leader will use activities from the Intermountain Activity Matrix to create awareness
about personal performance.
-- The clinic leader will facilitate reflection on the day's goals and other relevant experiences.
