Course Description:

Technical Skills Clinic, 1 day On-Snow.


Every winter the National Women's Summit brings together women from across divisions and disciplines for inspired learning. The wandering summit gives you the opportunity to ski and ride locally with some of our top female instructors.

Assessment Prep Goal:


This clinic is a 1-day, in-depth experience that will identify and prioritize the technical improvements necessary to prepare for the Level 2 Ski Assessment.

This event should only be attended by instructors intending to take the Level 2 Skiing Assessment.


Clinic Outcomes: By the end of this clinic, participants will:

  1. Understand their personal performance.
  2. Be able to compare their performance to the Level 2 Standard.
  3. Possess tools that support independent practice.


Clinic Experiences:


  • The clinic leader and participants will collaborate to determine relevant goals.
  • The clinic leader will emphasize the accurate integration of the overall magnitude of pressure, ski to ski pressure, and edge control.
  • The clinic leader will use activities from the Intermountain Activity Matrix to create awareness about personal performance.
  • The clinic leader will facilitate reflection on the day's goals and other relevant experiences.
