Course Description:

Ready for the next certification step? Have prepared and are ready to see where you are in your journey? The Alpine Level II exam is attained with successful completion of the online professional knowledge exam, the technical skills module and the people/teaching module (the latter both will have bits of movement analysis intertwined, as well as professionalism and self-management).


In order to register for the on-snow portion of the exam, you need to have completed the Alpine Level II online professional knowledge exam - 30 days before the on snow. It can be found at LMS.thesnowpros.org (login with your user name and password). Make sure you are familiar with the Alpine Standards (what you are assessed to), and the Alpine Certification Guide (the exam process).

If you have already registered for the same module during this season, and there is a wait list, the waitlist will be prioritized to those who have not been able to register for an exam. If there is room after the prioritization, registrations will be added.

Make sure you are familiar with, and know, the appropriate section(s) of the Alpine Certification Guide and the National Alpine Standards. And that you have talked with your trainer on expectations and your readiness for the exam.

Bachelor is generously supporting this program by providing lift tickets only for those who do not hold a season pass at the area, PSIA-NW thanks Bachelor for its support of the instructors and their continuing education. Before the day of the exam, click on the link for directions for Bachelor's waiver, this must be completed before the exam if you do not have pass at the area, or if you have not already filled out the waiver, if not, you will have to go to the ticket window line to complete it that morning. Bachelor's waiver only needs to be completed once during the 22-23 season.
