Candidates can also expect to have technical discussion as they pertain to both individual and group movement patterns as well as receive feedback on their skill application.

They will also work on understanding and describing their own performances.

Technical Skills Clinic, Full Day, On-Snow. Qualifies as Assessment Prep Clinic or Continuing Education. Open to Level 2 certified snowboard instructors.

* Prep clinics are recommended for all three prep clinics (People/Teaching skills, Technical skills, and Riding skills). One prep clinic, or equivalent event, is required to participate in certification assessments each calendar year. Participation in assessment orientation is required for each assessment topic that a participant did not receive a clinic in.

Terrain: Participants should be prepared to ride in blue and black groomed and ungroomed terrain, as the group/clinic topic requires.

Assessment Prep Goal: This clinic will help prepare participants for the Snowboard Level 3 Technical Skills and Riding Skills Assessments, by focusing on development of technical knowledge and application, specific to movement analysis and understanding of personal performance, as well as board and body performance specific skills.

Continuing Education Goal: Impact overall performance through improved understanding and application of the snowboard technical fundamentals.
