Course Description:
Skiing 200 is a personal skiing improvement clinic. It focuses on refinement of fundamental skills and skill blending, and on developing some higher-level skills and a broader range of versatility. Participants will experience challenging situations and tasks and will work on skills and tactics to manage those challenges.
Learning Experiences:
Specific activities will vary depending on the group and environmental conditions; however, they will typically include:
• Reinforce the five fundamentals of skiing.
• Performing a variety of activities and tasks in varied terrain to improve individual performance.
• Identify preferred body posture and pole usage
• Practicing skiing skills in different terrain, speeds and pitch.
• Understanding, through activities and feedback, personal ski performance and activities to practice after the clinic
