Adaptive Program Supervisor
Jackson Hole Mountain Sports School is seeking an Adaptive Program Supervisor. This progressive program accommodates adaptive athletes of all ages and skill levels and, notably, most types of disabilities from high-level spinal injuries to all level cognitive disabilities. The program sees upwards of 600 athlete clients per season.
The Adaptive Program Supervisor oversees a dedicated staff of ~25 instructors. Duties range from recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, daily pay and overall instructor development. Additionally, the Supervisor is intimately involved in athlete communication and instructor assignment. The Supervisor reports to the Assistant Director and works with the senior MSS management team on program strategy and growth. The Supervisor also works closely with Teton Adaptive Sports, a regional non-profit organization, to partner on accessibility, communication with the adaptive community and gear procurement. The successful candidate is computer comfortable (MS Office, RTP OS), familiar with current adaptive athlete technology and gear and has an understanding of PSIA/AASI certifications and processes.
This is a full-time, seasonal position with the possibility for growth. The position runs from mid-November to mid-April. This is a salaried, exempt position with full time benefits including full family JHMR winter passes, seasonal sick pay and 401k eligibility. Compensation is based on experience and certification.
