Adaptive Recreation Program Director

Eagle Mount Bozeman is committed to provide quality adaptive recreation and sport opportunities for people with disabilities and young people impacted by cancer, and to provide support for families of participants, so that “they shall mount up with wings as eagles.”  The Adaptive Recreation Program Director oversees one of Eagle Mount’s five program pillars (which are Adaptive Recreation, Adaptive Horsemanship, Adaptive Aquatics, Big Sky Kids Oncology Camps, and Family Engagement/Adaptive Arts).

This position designs, develops, and oversees delivery of seasonal recreation activities for Eagle Mount participants and their families. Activities include a variety of recreational modalities, mostly outdoor, including snow sports (downhill, cross-country, snowboarding), ice skating, climbing, cycling, and a variety of summer outdoor activities (day camps, overnight camps, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, etc.), and other activities as needed.

The Adaptive Recreation Program Director is an exempt full-time, year-round position with management, staff and volunteer supervision responsibilities. Regional travel, evening and weekend work are required. The position is supervised by the Director of Programs and serves as a member of the Program Director team.

Compensation & Benefits: This is a year-round, full-time, exempt position, $54,000-$62,400/yr DOE.
