Ski School Supervisor ($21/hour)

Job Description

The Recreation Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination of recreational activities and managing line level employees. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills & have an interest of training others.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.00 to $21.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

This position is at Yosemite’s Badger Pass location for the Winter 2024-2025 season. The season dates are typically from mid-December through March depending on snowfall.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and guidance to the employee recreation staff.
  • Supervise daily operations with the property
  • Collaborate with partners engagement representatives to coordinate community wide events.
  • Coordinate employee events to include both summer and winter operations.  Ex: Shopping and out of park trips, outdoor activities, engagement events.
  • Participate and coordinate in the Employee Engagement Committee.
  • Present information to new hire orientation about employee engagement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned through Human Resources or Employee Services departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in employee engagement and communications preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
