Description

This individual will provide leadership and be the face and brand of the Jon Reveal Sports School. This individual will work directly with the Sports School Manager, Daycare Manager and supervisory staff as an active participant and collaborator. They will provide on mountain experiences for Real Estate Prospects and guests by providing personalized recreational tours. This person will be ultimately responsible for reaching key KPIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sports School

• Be the name and face of skiing at Tamarack Resort
• Provide personal on-mountain/meadow/Lake experiences and tours for Real Estate Prospects and guests.
• Business development through experience based instructional opportunities
• Oversee all day-to-day operations and staff
• Develop and implement recruiting, training and retention programs for staff
• Manage the “business side” of the Sports School/Daycare including hitting key KPIs
• Develop regional and national relationships via PSIA-AASI
• Oversee Sports School Manager and supervisory staff
• Work in a collaborative fashion with the Sports School Manager in the development and implementation of new and existing programs.
• Participate in on-snow PSIA-AASI training events

Day Care

• Oversee Daycare manager and staff
• Maintain an impeccable safety record
• Maintain state licensed daycare and ensure that all staff and facility meet/exceed requirements.
• Manage key KPIs and goals
• Work in a collaborative fashion with Daycare Manager in the development and implementation of new and existing programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Three to five years’ experience managing or supervising a Snowsports School. Must demonstrate strong management and leadership skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Must be skilled in providing outstanding customer service.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Requires possession of a valid Driver’s license with a driving record meeting the minimum standards needed by the Resort’s insurance carrier. Must complete SafeSport certification. Must have and maintain Alpine or Snowboard certification (USASA, USSA, PSIA-AASI, or equivalent), and/or must have PMBIA or equivalent certification. CPR and First Aid training are highly preferred.
