    Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month Reports 50,000 Lesson Increase

    Organizers of the Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month (LSSM) and the Bring a Friend Challenge report that more than 153,000 children and adults registered for beginner lessons from professional instructors during January 2013, an increase of more than 50,000 over last season.

    This season’s turnout marks the largest single-year increase in lesson-takers since the initiative began in January 2009 with 20,000 participants.
