PSIA-AASI Announces Switzerland-based Faction Skis as an Official Supplier

PSIA-AASI welcomes Switzerland-based Faction Skis as a new PSIA-AASI Official Supplier.

Since 2006, Faction has been dedicated to the sport's most passionate members. The company’s athletes have won gold at the Olympics, the X Games and the Freeride World Tour. With the release of the all-new, all-mountain oriented, Austrian-made Dictator Series for the 2019-20 season, Faction looks to the core group of alpine aficionados within the PSIA-AASI as prime candidates to ski and support the new models.

“We're incredibly excited about getting our products on the feet of the most technically sound skiers in the nation,” explains Henrik Lampert, North American marketing manager at Faction. “With the Dictator, we’re offering the absolute deepest discount package that we offer among any pro programs to PSIA-AASI members, because instructors need a ski with world-class carving capabilities backed by versatile all-mountain prowess. With this ski, that’s exactly what you get. The Dictator will change the industry’s perception of what Faction is capable of.”

According to Lampert, Faction’s Dictator skis are the most high-performance frontside carvers on the market, and the perfect ski for instructors as they share the joy of sliding on snow with new skiers and returning enthusiasts. Furthermore, the directional Dictator provides instructors with a ski that blasts through variable snow and terrain with the utmost stability, all while providing enough play to keep it fun, forgiving and responsive. “If your students like to rip groomers, snake down couloirs and explore bumps all in a day’s work, this is the must-have everyday ski for instructors.”

PSIA-AASI members are also eligible for deep discounts on Faction’s award-winning Candide Thovex pro models series; the all-mountain freestyle-oriented Prodigy Series; the all-new backcountry touring-centric Agent Series; and the ultra high-performance Prime touring series.

“We are excited to partner with Faction skis as it continues to provide diversity when it comes to exploring what instructors need when working on the snow,” said PSIA-AASI CEO Nicholas Herrin. He added that it’s great to partner with a company that values growing the sport and getting more people to experience the joy of sliding on snow. Both PSIA and Faction want to help people be better skiers and have more fun.
