Icebreaker Announces Three Instructors as Official Ambassadors

PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Icebreaker announced its Official Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 Season. These three ski and snowboard instructors will represent the brand this winter:

John Pohl

Snowboard Level III, Children’s Specialist 1, Freestyle Specialist 1

Heber City, Utah

Marcia Meirowitz

Alpine Level II, Snowboard Level I

Maplecrest, New York

Peter Novom

Examiner for PSIA-E, Alpine Level III, Snowboard Level I, Freestyle Specialist 2, Children’s Specialist 2

Ludlow, Vermont

As Icebreaker ambassadors, the three instructors will help the brand raise brand awareness organically and authentically among the snowsports community.

“Being a former ski instructor, I know firsthand the value that snow instructors provide by being authentic brand advocates both on and off the mountain,” said Caroline Macmillan, Icebreaker Pro Sales Account Manager. “I chose the selected PSIA-AASI ambassadors because of their on-snow experience, commitment to sustainability, and their passion, which was clearly evident in their applications. I am grateful to the PSIA-AASI for this program to develop real relationships with snow pros to gain feedback and elevate brand awareness.”

The three instructors will receive an EPIC ski layering kit (including socks, bottom, top, mid layer and accessories) and 50% off icebreaker product through the icebreaker pro program.

In an announcement sent to the instructors, Macmillan said, “Icebreaker is about icebreaking: questioning the status quo and always striving to be better. Sustainability is not just the foundation of our business, it is who we are. Driven by the belief that nature has the solutions, we provide natural performance alternatives to synthetic based apparel to create a healthier more sustainable future for our species and the planet.”
