Burton Founders Inducted Into Vermont Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Jake Burton and Donna Burton Carpenter, who on September 27th were inducted into the Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum Hall of Fame.

Still running the company they founded 35 years ago, and still committed to driving the sport of snowboarding forward, the couple continue to ride, and continue to expand their iconic brand, with new offshoots such as Channel Islands Surfboards, RED, and ANON Optics.

Also included in the Vermont Hall of Fame inductions were National Ski Patrol founder Charles Minot “Minnie” Dole, former Stowe Reporter owner and publisher D. Trowbridge Elliman, cross-country skier Leslie Thompson Hall, and ski racer Gale H. “Tiger” Shaw, III.

The full list of inductees and their biographies can be viewed here.

Copper Starts Snowmaking
