First Chair Podcast: The North Face and PSIA-AASI Partner to Inspire Exploration

PSIA-AASI welcomes The North Face as their outerwear and baselayer Official Supplier to provide members with the industry’s most innovative performance apparel and gear.

In this new First Chair podcast, Scott Mellin, global VP of mountain sports at The North Face and Nick Herrin, CEO of PSIA-AASI, talk about the new partnership and how it gives you access to the best gear while you’re training the next generation of skiers and snowboarders. Scott talks about how The North Face provides the tools to explore, and PSIA-AASI is a gateway to exploration by introducing new skiers and riders to the sports.

“I personally learned to ski from certified ski instructors, and I have a huge dept of gratitude because it brought me to this place where the mountains are fundamentally the core of my being,” said Scott. “The first time you put on a pair of skis is a daunting experience. Instructors take the fear out so people can enjoy spending time outside.”
