Faction Releases New Collection of Performance Skis Built to Last
Faction’s 2020-21 line up is their most comprehensive, best-engineered ski collection to date – the culmination of years of research and development and a massive investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing.
The PSIA-AASI Official Supplier offers five premium skis series: The Agent, Dictator, Prodigy, Outcast, and Candide Thovex Signature Series.
“PSIA-AASI instructors will be especially fond of the Dictator models for day-to-day instructing, and the free-touring Agent Series for their uphill skiing days,” said Faction North American Marketing Manager Henrik Lampert.
The Dictator Series boasts two full sheets of metal for fast, stable charging and playful flex pattern making it easier to handle. The Dictator’s elliptical sidecut, full camber, and tip & tail rocker let you enjoy making long arcs and short radius turns, plus react instantly in moguls, trees, and choppy snow.
You can access a special members-only package deal on Dictator 2.0 and 2.0X models + Look SPX bindings + ski poles, in addition to deep discounts across the full Faction collection.
The Agent Series features a lightweight Karuba wood core backed by a full carbon weave. These are “tourable” skis that put huge emphasis on the downhill experience. Day tour, weekend trip, week-long expedition or inbounds, this is your one ski to do it all.
The X Series
The X Series is built for women who rip. Faction’s “X” branded skis feature the exact same construction as their counterparts in the main, unisex range, and are differentiated solely by lengths and artwork.
Engineering and Production
Faction’s engineering team includes Daniel Tanzer and Oliver Binder, some of the most respected engineers in the industry, and Josh Cohen, who has been with Faction from its inception in 2006. The hardgoods experts are backed by Faction’s full-time Quality and Sustainability Manager Sara Asmoarp, a Swede and former Volvo engineer.
Faction has shifted over 90% of their manufacturing to world-class factories in Austria where they plan to soon produce 100% of their skis.
