“It’s no secret that snowsports filter out eager newcomers every year because they find skiing or snowboarding too strenuous or difficult to learn,” said SNO-GO Marketing Director Rob Aseltine. “We truly believe that SNO-GO’s quick learning curve will bring more people to the mountains to connect with each other and keep guests coming back.”

Aseltine added that SNO-GO is also a really fun alternative to skiing or riding for more experienced users.

The free SNO-GO e-learning course covers:

  • Equipment Introduction
  • Riding Basics & Terrain Progressions: Turning and Stopping in Both Directions
  • Riding the Chairlift
  • Linking Multiple Turns on Beginner Terrain
  • Linking Turns on Intermediate Terrain
  • Advanced Edging Techniques

“We’ve also come to find that instructors love teaching SNO-GO lessons and because it’s so intuitive, they spend more time as tour guides cruising around slopes showing off the entire resort experience,” said Aseltine. “That’s just the beginning and we’re really excited to show more PSIA-AASI members the potential of SNO-GO in the upcoming webinar.”
