During the 2021-22 season, PSIA-AASI and Women of Winter offered five level I events certifying 30 Women of Color and welcoming them into the association’s educational community.

A video highlighting the partnership premiered on closing night of National Academy 2022 at Big Sky, Montana, to celebrate how the success of PSIA-AASI as an organization is based on the success of individual members.

“As our season ends, I’m especially proud of our many initiatives that support of access, equity, and inclusion,” said PSIA-AASI Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Herrin. “As an organization that’s ever-evolving, we must continue to enhance the snowsports experience for all through education. PSIA-AASI’s partnership with Women of Winter is an important first step, with many more to come.”
