Free Teaching Adaptive Snowsports Courses Now Available

Four new Teaching Adaptive Snowsports courses are now available to help you enhance your educational toolkit. These courses were produced in collaboration with Move United with support from the Department of Veteran Affairs Adaptive Sport Grant Program as a way to encourage Veterans with disabilities to pursue snowsports careers.

Teaching Adaptive Snowsports – Beginner Mono-Ski

Teaching Adaptive Snowsports – Beginner Mono-Ski is a course that serves as a prerequisite to any education pathway within the adaptive discipline. Whether you are curious about getting to know adaptive disciplines better, wish to gain knowledge and skills to work with adaptive students, or you hope to work towards a certification pathway within adaptive, this course will serve you well. Topics include: assessing your student’s needs, orientation with mono-ski equipment, as well as a variety of exercises you can use to work with your beginner mono-ski student(s). Take the course.
