Tuesday Tea Talks Welcomes Sue Kramer

Tuesday Tea Talks with Stacey Gerrish offer the perfect, interactive opportunity for PSIA-AASI members to participate directly in Zoom meetings with special guests from around the snowsports industry.

On Tuesday, May 14, from 6-7 p.m. MT, Stacey welcomes U.S. Ski & Snowboard Clinician and Level 300 Coach Sue Kramer.

Sue’s passion for skiing began in the hills of Vermont, where she was a high school racer. She’s made a career of teaching, coaching, and studying the sport of alpine skiing, competing in the 2008 and 2012 PSIA-AASI National Team Selection process, working with the women’s U.S. Development Team, and serving as PSIA alpine examiner coach.

Sue is the author of Be Fit to Ski, a scholarly book on alpine skiing fitness, and holds an MS in Kinesiology and an MS in Art Education and Ceramics.

In this 90-minute webinar with AASI Snowboard Team member Brian Donovan, you’ll learn about riding assessment activities and assessment criteria used at Level II and Level III national assessments. Brian will clearly explain the AASI Snowboard Certification Standards and how best to utilize the Snowboarding Technical Skills Performance Guide.

You’ll also gain a better understanding of the cause-and-effect relationship between a snowboarder’s body and the snowboard itself.
