Course Description: One of the most effective tools you can use to progress your adaptive skiing lessons is movement analysis. With everything we need to keep track of as adaptive instructors, however, it can be intimidating to have one more thing we need to do in our adaptive lessons. This Introduction to Adaptive Alpine Movement Analysis is designed to simplify movement analysis and transfer the basic Alpine MA techniques to our Adaptive Alpine athletes.

Prerequisites: None. This is an entry-level clinic.


Format: This clinic utilizes Ring Central Meetings, a web-hosted service for online video conferencing. Before the class, you are given a link to the online meeting. The presentation is shown via the sharing of the instructor's desktop. Throughout the clinic, there are discussions and activities to encourage participation. Many mobile devices do not allow for full participation in online meetings. It is strongly recommended that you use a computer with working video, speaker, and microphone capabilities to connect to the meeting via the internet. If your computer does not have speaker and microphone capabilities, you may use a phone for audio.
