Additional Event Details:

PSIA -AASI Northern Intermountain is pleased to announce that Tamarack Resort will be hosting our Spring Symposium April 5th, through 7th, 2024. Additionally, we are excited to have current National Team members Dusty Dyar (Alpine/ Childrens) and Brian Donovan (Snowboard) joining us this season. Tamarack has been generous enough to donate lift tickets for participants this year (there will be a one-time $5 media charge for the RFID card), in addition to lift tickets Tamarack was generous enough to extend a 15% discount on lodging at the resort. Make sure to sign up fast, spots are sure to fill up!

Clinic assignments will be emailed to participants prior to on-snow activities. There will be a social hour, meet and greet, as well as members meeting with the board of directors Friday evening from 6-8 PM at (Insert tamarack space here).

Activities

On Friday evening there will be a social hour and Members Meeting at The Fern & Feather in The Lodge at Osprey Meadows from 6-8 PM. Please take this opportunity to mingle with your Board Members, learn about the region, what it has to offer, and how you can help!

The Annual Banquet and Silent Auction will be on Saturday evening at The Fern & Feather in The Lodge at Osprey Meadows beginning at 6:00pm. In addition to a deluxe dinner buffet prepared by their professional staff, the banquet party will include a silent auction to raise donations for the Education Foundation. Laughter, camaraderie, and memories are included!

He will be joining us from his home mountain of Crested Butte Colorado.

Have you ever skied at Tamarack before? Though it didn't have much to offer? Join an education staff member based in Valley County for the tour of a lifetime. Learn about all the hidden gems Tamarack has to offer.


- Saturday - Alpine: Bump It! (6 CEUs)
     April 6, 2024 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

For skiers who have limited experience with the bumps or are accomplished bump skiers wishing to hone their skills with an aggressive group of skiers. Appropriate group splits will be made at the event. Clinics will focus on the technique and tactics of skiing bumps on terrain appropriate to the group's level.


- Saturday - Alpine: Significant Others (6 CEUs)
     April 6, 2024 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Bring your significant others for an opportunity to enjoy the Symposium Experience! Significant others will ski with an NI staff member and get to explore what Tamarack has to offer. (Participants must be able to comfortably ski at a medium pace on Difficult Blue to Easy Black groomed terrain and comfortable on easy blue off trail terrain)


- Saturday - Alpine: Need for Speed (6 CEUs)
     April 6, 2024 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Work on developing your skills to pick up the pace and ski at the next level! Spend time developing fast twitch muscles needed to get that perfect carve. This clinic is aimed at working with you and your needs to develop the ability to leave the perfect arcs across the hill. Pace will be determined by the group.


- Saturday - Freestyle: Freestyle One Specialist (6 CEUs)
     April 6, 2024 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

From spins to stylish grabs, participants of all skill levels come together, creating an electric atmosphere of camaraderie and progression. The community makes this event a celebration of our shared love for snowsports and the joy found in pushing our limits. Learn all types of tips and tactics for the beginner progression up to experienced park riders.

Brian Donovan is a professional snowboard trainer, coach, and instructor.
