Location: Park City Mountain - Canyons Base (Umbrella Bar at the top of the Cabriolet - meet at Umbrella Bar at the top of Cabriolet)
All participants in winter events at Park City are required to wear a helmet. If you do not wear a helmet you will not be able to attend the event you signed up for. If you do not have a helmet, Park City will provide them free of charge at the rental shop on the day of the event. Please check the resort website for all parking information.

Course Description:

This training event is for CURRENT DEV TEAM MEMBERS ONLY.

The Dev Team process is designed to select a group of instructors capable of completing is a long-term, in-depth process that trains future DECL staff.

Other requirements of the Dev Team include:

Identify a training mentor from the active DECL staff

Completing a self assessment of their technical, teaching and people skills

Create a training plan that identifies training priorities

Make a training schedule

Ongoing check-ins with mentor (A minimum of three/winter)

Attend all scheduled DECL & Dev Team training each winter (including this event)

Shadow events in the priority of: Level 1, Level 2 Prep, Level 2, Level 3 Prep, Level 3

Dev Team meetings (Online) - These will be held as needed, and are likely to include discussion of assigned readings.
