Course Description:
Skiing 100 focuses on developing personal skiing skills. It will help participants develop strong fundamental skills and versatility, and will help them understand and use proper tactics for varying conditions and terrain.
Learning Experiences:
Specific activities will vary depending on the group and environmental conditions; however, they will typically include:
• Introducing the five fundamentals of skiing.
• Performing a variety of activities and tasks in groomed terrain to improve individual performance.
• Introducing preferred body posture and pole usage
• Practicing skiing skills in different terrain, speeds and pitch.
• Understanding, through activities and feedback, personal ski performance and activities to practice after the clinic
