Course Description:


Course Name: Level II Assessment Prep Skiing
Discipline: Alpine
Time: 2 Days (12 credits)

Terrain: Beginner - moderate Advanced Terrain, Intermediate Zone Moguls

Do your skiing dreams have a silver lining? If you are a level I aspiring to earn a silver pin, start down your path toward level II certification at a Level II Skiing Exam Prep. In this event, you will explore ways to adjust and adapt the Alpine Skiing Fundamentals to demonstrate specific outcomes in beginner, intermediate and some advanced terrain. You will have the opportunity to engage in guided practice with the assessment activities you may encounter at your level II skiing exam, building the skills necessary to integrate three or more fundamentals through all turn phases to achieve prescribed ski performance. You will be challenged to manage turn shape, size, and line as needed in response to terrain or for tactical reasons.

Prerequisites: Current PSIA-AASI Membership, Level 1 Certification
