Course Description:

Welcome to Tuesday Tea Talks with Stacey Gerrish. These monthly interactive webinars (Zoom Meeting style) will feature special guests in the snowsports industry and are hosted by PSIA-AASI.

In this episode, Stacey welcomes PSIA Alpine Team Coach Michael Rogan, who has been a member of the PSIA Alpine Team for 28 years, an unprecedented length of service in the world of international teams attending Interski. Michael is certified Alpine Level III, has a Children's Specialist 2 certificate, and has his explosives license in Chile for avalanche mitigation. He began his skiing career in the East with positions at Catamount, New York, and Pico, Vermont, before accepting a position with Jimmy Ackerson at Portillo, Chile, in 1989. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Heavenly, California, and firmly established himself in PSIA-AASI's Western Region. Since 1989, Michael has 65 professional seasons under his belt, alternating between Heavenly and Portillo.
