Course Description:

In this 90-minute webinar, you'll learn about riding assessment activities and assessment criteria used at Level II and Level III national assessments. The speaker will clearly explain the AASI Snowboard Certification Standards and how best to utilize the Snowboarding Technical Skills Performance Guide. You'll also gain a better understanding of the cause-and-effect relationship between a snowboarder's body and the snowboard itself.

This 90-minute webinar will give you the knowledge to:

• Outline certification standards

• Explain technical fundamentals and how they're used in snowboarding

• Demonstrate understanding of riding activities for Level II and Level III assessments

About the Speaker:

Brian Donovan is a member of the PSIA-AASI National Team, an Eastern Region snowboard examiner, the Eastern Region Coordinator for Snowboard Education, and the PSIA-AASI Snowboard Taskforce Chair. Brian has been teaching snowboarding for 19 years and has been part of the Eastern Region Snowboard Education staff since 2010. He currently teaches at Stratton Mountain and Mount Snow Resort in Vermont.
