Snowsport Instructor

Full-time and part-time positions available (up to 40 hours/week)

Base pay rate ranges from $14.78/hour to $20/hour, depending on your PSIA-AASI certification level.  Lesson pay varies based on group size, age of students, length of lesson, requests, etc.

Whiteface is seeking ski and snowboard instructors to work seasonally, providing instruction to members of the general public at a variety of levels, from beginner to advanced.  Instructors must be friendly and outgoing, with the ability to communicate effectively.  Instructors will be responsible for advising customers on suitable terrain relevant to their abilities and must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.  Whiteface Mountain is located just outside Lake Placid, New York and was host to the 1980 Winter Olympic alpine skiing events.
